The Visionary standard

Every visit starts with a consultation. Your hair is read for thickness, texture and shape before a clipper is switched on. Then Vickram takes his time, talks it through, and works every detail until the cut in the mirror matches the picture in your head.

The perm, done properly.

On Booksy they call him the Perm King. Curls here are planned, wrapped and processed by hand, one section at a time, so they come out natural, defined and exactly the shape you asked for.

    Consultation

    Thickness, texture and condition are checked first. You agree on curl size, length and the fade underneath before anything is mixed.

  2. 02

    The wrap

    Rods are chosen for the curl you want and set section by section. This is where the shape is decided, so it is never rushed.

  3. 03

    Process & rinse

    The solution is timed and rinsed out at the bowl, then neutralized to lock the curl in place.

  4. 04

    The reveal

    Rods out, curls defined, fade cleaned up. You leave with the look and the know how to keep it.

Plan for 2 hours 30 minutes or more. Longer and thicker hair takes longer. There is a lounge, a console and a screen, and more than one client has spent the time watching a movie in the chair.

The studio has its own tattoo room, with a dedicated chair kept apart from the barber floor. Tattoo work is booked by consultation, so the design, placement and size are settled before the needle comes out.

Behind the chair

Meet Vickram.

Vickram Singh Mann is a barber and tattooist, and a licensed hairstylist through Ontario's apprenticeship program. He started as Visionary Cutz in 2018 and has since built a studio that one client called “the spot to get a luxury cut worth every penny.”

What people come back for is the time he takes. He listens first, explains what will work for your hair, and keeps the conversation going while he works. Parents mention how patient he is with kids. Perm clients mention the movies.

What is the best way to book?

Book on Booksy for priority, or call or text (647) 673-6796. Many regulars book directly, so the app can look more open than the chair really is. If you need a specific time, send a message first to confirm.

Is there a first visit price?

Yes. First time clients can book a haircut (no beard) at a promotional price of $25 to $35. The regular price is $45.

How long does a perm take?

The menu lists 2 hours 30 minutes, and longer or thicker hair can take more. Come comfortable. The lounge has a screen and a console, and you are welcome to put a movie on.

Do you do house calls?

Yes. House calls start at $120 and are booked for 1 hour 30 minutes. Book ahead on Booksy or by text so the visit can be fitted around the studio day.

Do you cut kids' hair?

Absolutely. The studio is child friendly, and parents regularly mention how patient Vickram is with younger clients.

How do I book a tattoo?

Tattoos are booked by consultation. Message @visionarystudiotattoo or text the studio with your idea, placement and approximate size, and you will get a time to talk it through.

How clean is the studio?

Surfaces are disinfected between every client and disposable gloves are worn on every service. Vickram is Barbicide certified in sanitation and disinfection.

Where do I park, and how do I pay?

There is parking at the studio, the entrance is accessible, and credit cards are accepted.
